Voter Registration Deadline

Last day to register to vote. Last day to update your mailing address.

September 18

Ballots Mailed

Ballots mailed to all registered users. Ballot drop boxes open 24/7.

September 21 – October 5

Early In-Person Voting

Early in-person voting at City Hall (155 Heritage Way, Juneau, AK 99801) and Mendenhall Valley Library (3025 Diamond Park Loop, Juneau, AK 99801) vote centers.

Address Change Deadline

Last day to apply to receive your ballot to a different address.

October 5

Electronic Ballot Request Deadline

Last day to apply to receive your ballot by email or fax.

October 6

Election Day

Last day to vote in person or by ballot drop box, mail, email, or fax.

  • Vote in person from 7:00AM until 8:00PM.
  • Return your ballot to a ballot drop box before 8:00PM.
  • Mail your ballot with a postmark date of October 6.

Ballot Cure Deadline

Last day to “cure” or fix an issue with your ballot envelope.

Final Results Published

Final results published online upon certification.

Early in-person voting at Harrigan Centennial Hall (330 Harbor Drive, Sitka, AK 99835) vote center.

  • Open weekdays from 8:30AM until 4:30PM.
  • Saturdays (September 26, October 3) from 9:00AM until 12:00PM.
September 29

Absentee Ballot Request Deadline

Last day to request absentee by mail ballot.

October 6

Election Day

Last day to vote in person at Harrigan Centennial Hall (330 Harbor Drive, Sitka, AK 99835) vote center or mail, email, or fax. Last day to apply to vote by fax or email.

  • Vote in person from 7:00AM until 8:00PM.
  • Apply to vote by fax or email by 5:00PM and return your ballot by 8:00PM.
  • Return your ballot to the Municipal Clerk’s Office (100 Lincoln St, Sitka, AK 99835) by 5:00PM.
  • Mail your ballot with a postmark date of October 6.
